I'm looking for ARC support to get participants. I know all services support ARCs; but wouldn't I want to choose one that has the most readers in their system so I get the most visibility for my ARC? Do you know how big their reader base it?

We adopted our twinsies from a Siamese rescue. Our boy is half- Bengal (mom’s a purebred, but father unknown-his litter bas the typical coat; distinctive rosettes & glitter like mom, with the exception of Raspy & 1 sister He has the stereotype personality & likes to yell a lot. We were told that my girl is an Oriental Shorthair mix. Mom & all of Nurra’s litter mates are torbies or torties. She is also vocal, especially with her brother. When she was a baby, she had ridiculously huge ears & pointier face. She didn’t fully mature until she turned 2. She’s muscular, but very compact & looks smaller than her weight. She was very small for her age (just under 3 lbs when she was 4 months), Long torso, long neck & very long tail. Even though she’s a tortie, as grew, she developed spots, rings & mascara marking until she was around a 🦝 As she became a grown up, she looks more like Abyssinians, except a for her coat colour. Her fur does look darker at the tips, but isn’t the typical agouti shade- Pretty much everyone thinks she must part Aby & don’t see the OSH, except for the colour. I thought that she would be a Stage 5 clinger like my boy & my previous Ocicats. (She does like to follow, not a fan of being held. She’s so silky, sweet, smart & athletic. Definitely more passive the half Bengal boy. Like your guy, you have to go her to pet her. She will roll on her back to get her tummy rubs, purr & make air biscuits I just wish soy on my lap

I'm fortunate to have had two abys. My first was very independent, but she would allow me to pick her up for maybe a minute. She would grind her chin against mine so hard that she eventually got a callus. She was a beauty. She loved visitors and would make sure she was in the middle of everything She would get in my bed at night for about 30 minutes and then take off to make her rounds. Sadly, I lost her just a couple of months before her 14th birthday My aby that I have now is in my lap most of the time, super protective and territorial, incredibly intelligent, and stays off the counters, shelves, tables, etc. She's never broken anything! She doesn't like other animals, though. She wallows all over my sweaty t-shirts, trying to get my scent on her or visa versa.

I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure about reading it because I thought it might be one of those with a ghost as a character, but I’m glad I gave it a shot. It was wonderful.

Can't help but say that I feel that a lot of these tips will be detrimental to a writer who wishes to pursue it as a passion. Ego and Narcissism based approaches are offered here, there are better ways to rise against criticism then shutting it down and claiming it is "hate." I haven't read anything you've wrote so I won't judge you or your works, I just judge the advice given here because I don't think new writers should coddle their feelings because it will damage their writing in the future. I am also not talking about just trolling "Ugly" comments or stuff like that, but perhaps someone saying "I think the writing of BookX is bad, characters were flat." shouldn't be filtered as hate.

I finally published my first novel earlier this year, and I'll be publishing my second one this fall. So far, I have typed my novels in Microsoft Word and formatted them in Reedsy. Reedsy doesn't have a whole lot of options for how to format, but I used it because it was free and I was trying to keep my costs as low as possible.

I’m a vet primetime & cable editor and creative writing was one of my dual minors and always a passion- I started writing for my fiancé and she thinks I should sell the stuff I wrote, but when compiling it I’d been using notebooks and hasn’t kept track of my working drafts despite labeling them as such due to it being very ad lib at times, so when compiling I found I had the same thing different drafts in multiple places. Now everything’s a complete, er, cluster F. I want an app that will literally find all repeated phrases without me having to enter them, like, ON IT’s OWN. I can’t seem to get a straight answer on this since Google has intentionally destroyed it’s own algorithm to “protect” us from “disinformation”- (Not Orwellian, at all, at all). If you have any idea if Scrivener or any others can do this, please lemme know. No worries if not, AND I get my accounts shadowbanned and censored and yeeted if I don’t hit’cha bk rt away… or ever, it’s not for lack of trying and I do appreciate it! Fun book. Narrator may need a little more experience? Tone inflection on " ... I said" moments are sometimes disruptive for scene, but voices are good.
